Welcome to The Sugared Peach! My name is Haley Jacobs. I am married to an amazing man named Jeremy, and we have a sweet fur-baby named Dax (see pictures below for all the feels).
My husband is right in the midst of his third year of medical school at Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, TN. All of my fellow medical school wives, fiancés, and girlfriends are fully aware of the sacrifice that is being the significant other of a future physician. Through this blog, I hope to provide a place filled with encouragement meant to give a little bit of hope to the wife that feels like she will never make it through. To the fiancé that is wondering if this is the life she really chose for herself. To the girlfriend that is trying to decide if this life is worth the struggle.
The Sugared Peach is not only for medical school wives, though! I envision this blog as being a community of women (and men) who love pretty things, daily adventures, growing in faith and learning from the quirks of life. Posts will be filled with some of my favorite things such as DIY projects, style, and tricks to tame curly locks. Although The Sugared Peach may showcase superficial and material things from time to time, I hope that you leave with a deeper feeling of encouragement and genuine happiness. So get settled in to your couch or in your bed (I hope you have a chai latte in hand) and stay a while. I am so glad that you are here!
